The Appconference Team have posted details of the first release candidate for the 2.0 version of Appconference:
Hello all,
We would like to announce that the 2.0 branch of Appconference has been created and the appconference-2.0rc1 has been released. The highlight of this release is video support, including VAD-based as well as DTMF based video switching. In addition to that we have a comprehensive set of new CLI commands, as well as numerous bugfixes and small improvements.
Starting now, the 2.0 branch is the new "stable" codebase, while trunk is open for new developments. If you are using appconference in a production environment, we suggest that you use the 2.0 branch. We plan to release another candidate or even the final 2.0.0 version in a couple of weeks, depending on user feedback.
We would like to thank everybody who participated in the development of this release of appconference. It has been a long road, but we believe we're at a point where we have a strong product, and this is due to all of you who contributed. We would also like to thank all users of appconference for their patience.
As usual, we would like to hear any comments or feedback.
The Appconference Team
