VentureVoIP AgentPopper released

Hi, we have had a couple of problems getting screen pops for agents in Asterisk 1.4 without using AgentCallBackLogin, and so have created a Windows application which can be used to do the screen popping.

It's incredibly simple and doesn't provide much in the way of features.

There is a file c:popper.ini which looks like this:

[popper]
hostname=AsteriskManagerHostName
port=5038
username=AsteriskManagerUserName
password=AsteriskManagerPassword
agentnumber=101
url=http://myserver.com/vtiger.php?clid=

Basically you put in your Asterisk Manager access details and the agent number. When a call is connected to the agent (who is constantly logged on), it will cause the machine to load the url specified in the last line of the ini file with the callerid number appended.

If anyone needs the vtiger.php script we use to do lookups into vtiger, please email us.

The software is released as public domain and is available from here.
