Steven Sokol has posted information on Asterisk training:

Lumenvox/Digium Speech Recognition Added To Bootcamp
All Students To Receive A Free Speech Starter Kit
----------------------------------------------------
One of the great features of the newly released Asterisk 1.4 is the Asterisk Speech Interface (or ASI), which allows Asterisk users to easily implement speech recognition applications in the Dialplan, from AGI or from the core API. Digium has partnered with LumenVox, the leader in cost effective speech recognition, to produce a world-class speech solution with the lowest per-port price on the market today.

Starting in February, all Asterisk Bootcamp classes offered by S&A will include a module covering speech recognition using ASI and the LumenVox speech engine. Each Bootcamp student will also receive a free copy of the Asterisk Speech Starter Kit. The kit includes a copy of the Lumenvox Speech Engine, the Digium connector bridge and a one-port runtime license.

For more information on LumenVox's support for Asterisk, please see their site.

Bootcamp Moves To 1.4
---------------------
Starting in February all Bootcamp classes offered by S&A will cover version 1.4 of Asterisk. The new course materials will include coverage of the new autoconf and menuselect system, GoogleTalk support, IMAP voicemail storage, T.38 fax pass-through, the generic jitter buffer, whisper paging and more.

We've also expanded the package of materials that each student receives. Our goal is to provide both the knowledge and the tools necessary to succeed with Asterisk. To achieve that goal, we provide each Bootcamp student with a complete starter kit (worth over $500). The kit includes*:

-Linksys SPA-942 VoIP Phone
-Digium TDM-11b Analog Card (1-FXS, 1-FXO)
-LumenVox/Digium Speech Starter Kit (1 Port)
-Riparius Internet Audio Handset
-O'Reilly's Asterisk: The Future of Telephony
-Printed & Electronic Copies: Lecture & Lab Manuals
-AsteriskNOW! Live CD
-Asterisk Backpack
-Asterisk T-Shirt
